Charles Spencer Chaplin was born in East Street, Walworth, London on April 16, 1889 at 8 p.m., he was an actor, the director, writer, producer and British winning composer of the Prize Oscar. Across his almost 90 movies of mute and sonorous cinema,
He became the most representative figure of the mute cinema. Considered one of the big geniuses of the history of the cinema.
He was feeling strongly identified with the Jews.
His parents were artists of the music-hall.
His mother was an actress.
His father was a singer of the music-hall but he was alcoholic, because that family was living in a terrible poverty of this city.
At the end of the 19th century. he grew in Kennington's neighborhood, among the many actors of the music-hall.
Charlie lived with his mother when his parents separated, after his birth. His father died when Charlie was 12 years old, and together with his brother Sidney passed a lot of time in orphanages.
Charles with his brother Sidney began to work from children
he started as infantile actor at the theatre, from 5 years.
Charlie Chaplin arrived to Hollywood in 1913, and began to work in November.
On February 2, 1914 released his first movie called Making to Living.
In 1918 he married with the actress Mildred Harris and in 1920 he get divorced
Between 1918 and 1922 he filmed twelve(12) some classic movies as To Dog Life and Shoulder Arms.
In 1932 realized a new and extensive trip to Europe, where he knew the French actress Paulette Goddard.
His daughter, Geraldine Chaplin, was actress too
And finally He died at 88 years, the day of Christmas of 1977.
